When you use these features, the following data is sent securely to our server and to our AI provider, OpenAI:- Transcription: your voice recording is sent to OpenAI to be converted into text.
- Ask your diary: your question and the relevant diary text are sent to OpenAI to generate an answer.
- Read aloud: entry text is sent to OpenAI (or Google, for some languages) to generate spoken audio. This data is processed only for the moment needed to fulfill your request and is then discarded. It is never stored on our servers, never used for advertising, and never used to train AI models. OpenAI processes this data under its API data protection terms, which provide protections equal to those described in this policy, including no training on your data. The app asks for your explicit permission before any data is sent for AI processing. The first time you record, you will see a consent screen explaining exactly what is shared and with whom. If you do not agree, no data is sent.4. Data Storage & SecurityYour diary entries are stored locally on your device. We do not operate servers that store your diary content. All data sent for AI processing travels over encrypted connections (HTTPS). We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.5. You can export a full backup of your data or delete all your entries at any time directly from within the app (About > Your Data / Danger Zone).
